The Sunpower solar panels were fitted back in 2019 and the Victron battery system was added on 2022 along with 2 more DC coupled solar panels. We went for the Victron battery system because Tesla Powerwalls were in short supply at the time. In addition Victron offered some very niche features like: 1) Frequency shifting when off grid 2) Option to DC couple more solar panels 3) research for larger, 3 phase off grid battery systems.
